Transitioning from Halfway to Halloween to Halfway to Christmas
All the while celebrating Summerween.
Hello everyone, and welcome back to my newsletter. If you are new, please consider subscribing to this publication below this message before leaving this post.
Around the time of my 26th birthday this year, I found out that Hobby Lobby began its Code Orange shopping phenomenon. Soon, I heard the same news from At Home and other stores.
We are already halfway to Halloween, so it's easy to admit that the stores are gearing up for what they believe to be another phenomenal year for content creation around the seasons.
I’ve been a Christmas fan year round. It wasn't until last year that I was more enthusiastic about autumn. It was obviously with the help of YouTube that I felt curious about the autumn aesthetic.
What I would like to do this year, and so forth, is to take photos of everything I see in stores related to fall and Halloween. I have plans to make a mini-photo zine series, if I should take plenty of photos.
With the halfway point to Christmas coming up, I know when to find the balance between Summerween and Christmas in July.
I'm going to paraphrase what I wrote in my journal: QVC’s Christmas in July schedule. That's all you needed to hear from me. Maybe I'll stick around for the Hallmark Channel movies after I read The Pumpkin Spice Café in Mexico.
